What is Vocational Rehabilitation

Vocational Rehabilitation services is a one-stop career development program that tenders individuals with disabilities a wide range of services designed to provide them with the skills, resources, attitudes, and expectations required to compete in the interview process, get the job, keep the job, and develop a lifetime career.

The average duration of each training course in most cases is about 12 months, while in some extra cases the duration rely on the severe ness of the disability. The Center provides both training and employment, for which the persons with disabilities get an allowance. In addition to the allowance given to all trainees, a special allowance is given to trainees that are capable of producing. They are responsible for continued counseling, reevaluation, and reeducation of the patient with regards to vocational issues. Vocational Rehabilitation Program is an eligibility program, not an entitlement program.
